Terms of use
Nocturne provides a free Essential extension and an optional recurring Workspace Comfort Pro licence for Chrome.
Compatibility
Google can change Docs or Drive without notice, which may temporarily affect coverage. Nocturne is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. The compatibility page separates automated fixture coverage from authenticated manual validation.
Essential remains free
The basic Docs dark-mode control, privacy protections, image-safe treatment, Proofing Peek, print safety and compatibility repairs are not sold as Pro features. No account or payment is required for Essential.
Pro trial
The no-card Pro trial lasts 14 days from activation and can be started once per browser. It does not renew or charge automatically. Reinstalling or clearing browser storage may remove local trial state; doing so does not create a contractual right to another trial.
Paid Pro plans
Annual Pro is $13.49 per year and Monthly Pro is $2.69 per month. Both are recurring subscriptions and unlock the Pro features listed on the pricing page on up to three activated browsers. The hosted checkout displays the final charge and applicable billing details before purchase. Polar acts as merchant of record and handles payment, receipts, applicable taxes and the customer portal.
Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions renew at the chosen interval until cancelled. Customers can cancel through the customer-portal link supplied with their receipt; access continues through the paid billing period. Refund requests are handled through the payment receipt and remain subject to applicable consumer law and the terms shown at checkout. Cancelling a subscription does not itself refund a completed charge.
Licence use
A licence key is a private credential for the purchaser and may not be published, resold or shared beyond the activation allowance. Nocturne may suspend keys affected by payment reversal, abuse or breach of these terms. Cached access may continue briefly while a browser is offline, then requires successful validation.
Document safety and liability
Nocturne changes presentation styles, not file content. Proof important colours and output before relying on on-screen appearance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nocturne is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use or inability to use the software. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Nocturne is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC. Google Docs, Google Drive and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC.
